Like a billion other people in the world.. I too have had this burning desire to create an online game. I'm not going to use the term MMO because I don't expect it to ever be MASSIVE. But I do think it's pretty fun! If you are a fan of Zelda, or any of the Early Ultima games you should have a look! It's written in javascript and node.js. It takes full advantage of websockets, so you won't get much out of it unless you use Chrome or Safari. Current features: combat, PVP, item drops, guard system, criminal system, shopping, banks, chat... and.. pizza and ale! I'm at the point where I need a hand with testing, so head over to Basjian.com and sign up, it's free of course.

Ever played the game Ring of Fire? Kings? Tic Tac Toe? This shouldn't be to hard to pick up if so. It's a drinking game where you're arrange the cards, and your friends in a circle and one person starts off by drawing a card. Each card has a rule on it. Pretty standard stuff! This was my first venture into webapps and CSS3 for that matter. I rewrote Circle of death.. Oh I don't know.. maybe 6 times! I'm very pleased with the outcome, and if I ever finish writing up the rules/about/disclaimer text I'll be pushing this baby to the appstore with a little help from my main man phonegap!

Every night before bed I check a handful of deal-a-day sites using my iPhone.
I had a hunch that I could throw together a webapp in one night that would scrape in the important bits of info and show it in an all-in-one format.
I knew I wanted the ability to reorder the sites, preferably with drag and drop.
After some searching I found "addTouch" a jQuery plugin to route the touch events to that of the mouse - so jQuery's drag and drop functions worked just as they do on a computer

Me and my friends seem to enjoy making up stupid phrases and seeing how many of our other friends we can get to repeat them. Wordbert is another quick webapp I threw together to help us accomplish that stupid task. Beware, this is a wide open app that anyone in the world can make contributions to, you may (and probably will) encounter some filthy words if you happened to dive in. The idea was simple, but I had to go and make it complex by adding in the first google image search result based on the fashioned phrase. I even hacked a text-to-speach webservice to speak the phrase out loud.
